Our Kennel In the spring of 2003, we, my husband (seen in pictures) and I, started building our new 24' by 30' kennel. After numerous weather related delays, we finally poured concrete at the end of August. Our goal was to get the dogs moved in before winter. Working on it every moment we could, something through the night, we finally finished the building before the first snow fall. Still needing to run the fencing for the runs, we were working in 10 F temperatures heading for below zero within a week. With the heaters going inside, we finished the runs and got the dogs moved in. We could then go thaw out knowing the dogs were all warm and cozy. It is said that our fur kids are a "labor of love", after some of the conditions we worked in, I think we've proven it. Here are a few pictures taken along the way. For a couple of "old folks" (50's) I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
