Back in 2003 we responded to an email on one of the lists that we belong to regarding a service dog needed
for a lady who would be wheelchair bound in a few years. We found out that she had been advised that a Rough
Collie would be perfect for her based on her needs. At the time we had a 6 month old male rough that wasn't
spoken for and decided to see if the personalities meshed. They did. So without hesitation, we gave her a new
best friend and he started his training immediately. Please enjoy the pictures below of Wendy and McCree.

Last May, Bear made his trip to Mississippi to join his new family in Natchez. He just celebrated his first Christmas with Matthew and the rest of the children. Note the Webkinz Collie in Matthew's hands. Bear's First Christmas JavaScript must be enabled to view images.
