A Little About Us:

We are "an old married couple" on the backside of 50, who have always been dog lovers and enjoyed living the country life. After being "stuck" in the city for too many years raising a family , it was time to "get outta town" and turn our thoughts to retiring some day.

After purchasing 10 acres in the country, we decided to start a kennel. We are indeed just getting started, focusing our attention on Rough Collies. (I grew up with the original Lassie and Timmy back in the 50's and have loved Collies ever since.) At this time we have a total of 11 collies, 7 males (Sable, White, Tri-Color and Blue Merle) and 4 females (Sable and White and Blue Merle). All of our dogs are rough with the exception of our newly acquired Blue Merle Smooth Bitch located at the top of the page.

We are looking at this venture as promoting the Rough Collie breed, companionship and if we are lucky, adding a Championship title or two. We are looking into showing by watching, listening, reading and learning. Hopefully next spring we will make our show debut. Wish us luck.
